Olives

From ancient times people in Spain have grown olives. The reason is that olives have not only dainty taste but also help to keep the skin young and to strengthen the health. But olives were recognized only after 1970th, when the results of research were published. It was proved that people of Mediterranean have the lowest level of cardio-vascular diseases in Europe as a result of active taking for food of this product. 

Today olives are not holiday delicacy, but the product for every day. A lot of people can not imagine their dietary intake without it. 

The fruits of olive tree contain the big quantity of vegetable fats and have nutrient and energetic value. The raw pulp of oil consists on proteins (6%), dietary fiber (9%), water (23%), pectin, fat or oil (56%), potassium, calcium. Olives contain substances that strengthen cell membranes and mucous membranes, make good influence to stomach, pancreas, liver and cardio-vascular system functions. They also help to heal wounds, clear the organism from slags and toxins. Olives are healthful also for old people because they strengthen bone tissue, improve liver functioning.
